Tourist Visa (Electronic Travel Authorization)
The Consulate General Issues Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to foreign nationals wishing to travel to Nepal on tourist visa.

The ETA will remain valid for up to 6 months from the date of issue.
The applicant is required to visit in person with the Copy of Online ETA/Visa Application Confirmation Page and original passport and the copy during weekdays from 9.30 to 12.00. Appointment can be scheduled via email: cgnjeddah@cgnjeddah.com
The passport must have at least 6 months of validity.

Note: Children under the age of 10 shall be issued with a visit visa free of cost upon the arrival at Nepal.
The Nationals of the following countries must receive their visa at the Consulate General before travelling to Nepal as they are not entitled to get visas on arrival:
The Visa Officer at the Consulate General of Nepal reserves the right to refuse any visa without assigning any reason whatsoever.
Once the visa is issued, it will not be amended, revalidated and visa fees will not be refunded.
Beside Tribhubhan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu, visitors can also obtain tourist visa at the following arrival points in Nepal:
Kakarbhitta, Birgunj, Belhiya, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Dhangadi, Mahendranagar, Kodari.
Visa fees at arrival points: 15 days=$30, 30 days=$50, 90 days=$125.If applicant wishes to obtain visa on arrival, two passport sized photographs should be presented.
Tourist visa can be extended from the Department of Immigration, Kathmandu and Immigration Office, Pokhara for a total of 120 days.
An ETA shall be issued to a person holding a diplomatic or official passport for an official visit or duty to Nepal, including their accompanying family members, provided all hold diplomatic or official passports.
The diplomatic/official visa shall be issued by the Embassy for a period of 30 days.
The term thereof may be extended, if required, from the Department of Consular Services, Kathmandu for the remaining term of the official assignment in Nepal.
